A folkloric life centered around the Laetare, but also a socio-cultural activity with many events and organizations throughout the year.
The year’s agenda is very busy for the White Moussi. If the Laetare is the main event, other meetings punctuate its life in all seasons.
Two General Assemblies allow the committee (the Chapter) to present its projects and reports, to exchange with the whole of the Confraternity of the ideas in progress and to come… But these Assemblies offer above all beautiful occasions to gather together in full for a moment of conviviality.
The January Assembly always launches the hostilities and the preparation period of our Laetare.
In the following weeks, an aperitif at the local, the Carnival outing (link) and many preparation workshops see multiple BMs meeting and actively preparing their different projects for the upcoming Laetare.
Construction of the floats, writing of the posters, preparation of the masks, confetti and bladders and various organizations… Life is animated during this period. (links to the different topics)
In order to spice up this rise, a team also organizes its famous “Friday bar” with typical and humorous themes.
The sweet madness of the Laetare rises little by little to take us to our big meeting!
It is then the turn of our theme banquet to animate the streets and offer to the BM the first opportunity to let their imagination run free to bring their touch to the chosen theme. Halfway between the exit of Carnival and Laetare, it is the ideal springboard to the latter!

The Laetare behind us, little time to breathe…
Our local, ideally located at the foot of the Stockeu, opens its doors to celebrate the passage of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, welcome the many fans and offer them to follow the race on a giant screen after the passage of the riders.
The second Assembly of May ensures the transition between our flagship period and the rest of our calendar.
Our trips abroad complete this busy schedule. With 1 to 2 trips per year, we find ideal opportunities to put on our costume again to animate the streets of the cities we visit (link to the travel page).
Before the vacations, it is the christening of the blues that animates the city. Always around an original theme, our candidates punctuate two years of internship before reaching the quality of effective BM.
At the end of the vacations, it’s the BM’s turn to welcome us with a petanque tournament, a barbecue and musical animations.
The last part of the year is embellished with several parties and dinners, including the Cuitnée in September, the banquet of the Chevalerie in October…
Since its beginnings, the Brotherhood also organizes the St Nicolas for the children of Stavelot. The great Saint, passing through for the occasion, made us the pleasure to cross our streets followed by the children before rewarding them with some sweets.
What’s next? Then, the month of December follows its course…
There is not long to wait. The 1st Assembly in early January is not far away!
